We have an opportunity for an Associate UX Designer to deliver best in class solutions in collaboration with UX Researchers, UX Designers and supporting User Interface (UI) Designers.
As a User Experience Designer within the EECT Design team at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of a creative and passionate team focussed on the account & pricing reference data applications to create a better experience for our global network of employees.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams comprised of business and technology stakeholders at all levels
- Create wireframes, user interface design and prototypes using modern design tools
- Share your work with designers, developers, and stakeholders across multiple teams
- Participate in user research and partner with internal researchers
- Provide solutions for applications that aggregate data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with other user experience designers and researchers offering advice and constructive feedback on design/usability review
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction/Interface Design, Graphic Design, Technology Communications or related discipline
- Experience as a designer for enterprise software, responsive web applications, mobile apps, and defining in-house style guides & documenting standards
- Proficient with modern design tools – Figma, Sketch, Invision, or equivalent
- Understanding and commitment to usability and user-centred design principles/methods; including experience in a variety of usability evaluation techniques such as usability testing, contextual interviews, and heuristic evaluations
- Strong understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) and assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, Zoomtext)
- Understanding of the capabilities of modern web application technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, LESS/Sass, React
