As a Senior Director of Software Engineering in Employee Compliance and Conduct (part of Finance, Risk, Data and Controls)you lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide technology objectives
  • Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
  • Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
  • Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus across competing objectives
  • Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
  • Partners with Chief Technology Officer for Compliance, Regulatory and Controls, Chief Compliance Officer for Employee Compliance and Conduct, senior stakeholders across FRDC and business partners to develop, educate and implement our technology strategy
  • Drives enhancement and implementation of a strategic target state architecture with consistency across a large scale and a global team of technologist. Define and implement next gen mobile experience for employee compliance and conduct

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists
  • Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale
  • Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
  • Extensive practical cloud native experience
  • Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • Understanding of landscape involving LOB, Human resources and the compliance and conduct framework to devise technology solutions to better support the business
  • Extensive experience leading a global services delivery model at scale supporting corporate and clients from key industry vertical (Finance, Healthcare, Retail) and managing service delivery against SLAs / KPIs, required with a well-defined revenue streams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working at code level
  • Experience in leading services / operations teams in any industry verticals (Finance, Healthcare, Retail)
  • Ability to lead large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Strategic planning (e.g., roadmap creation and execution)
