JPMorgan Chase & Co. is expanding its consumer business by launching a new digital bank in the UK. International Consumer Finance & Business Management is seeking an experienced financial services professional to join the team as a Business Manager for the Customer Operations function.

Your responsibility as the Business Manager (BM) is to provide support to the business, and is critical for driving analysis, process improvement, controls and strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with many teams in the business including but not limited to Planning & Analysis (P&A), Legal & Compliance, Controls Office, Operations and Technology to manage expenses with particular focus on headcount management

Job responsibilities

  • This role is specific to support our Customer Operations group
  • Management of headcount within the business including planning, forecasting, resource strategy and analysis
  • Expense oversight across 150 vendors
  • Partnering with the Executive Leadership team on their P&L and support them in managing their budgets
  • Partner effectively with the business and finance function to drive the budget rounds and review variances to plan / resolution of issues
  • Be prepared to engage and own individual projects as required by the business, making use of your people skills to solve problems and bring resolution to complex business challenges

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Preferred experience in supporting Operations functions in a retail bank
  • Preferred experience in a related business function: Business Management, Finance, PMO
  • Data analysis with high level of Excel proficiency
  • Energetic and dynamic in style with the ability to present to senior management and external stakeholders with confidence
