Global Financial Messaging (GFM) is part of EMEA Banking Operations and is a shared utility providing critical SWIFT connectivity and processing capability for the Bank. The Bournemouth team maintains a strong partnership with the Bangalore office in a mirrored set-up. The role is for a SWIFT Operations Analyst position within the Bournemouth office and the working week is Monday to Friday – 5 days a week. Job responsibilities:
As a SWIFT Operations Analyst in the GFM Exception Repair Team you will be:
- Monitoring exception queues within the SWIFT applications
- Able to understand the day-to-day workload distribution and ensure that all requests are completed within established SLAs
- Completing complex investigation across several internal applications
- Processing of message flow from exception queues and escalating to managers for high impacting or high volume message exceptions
- Responding to internal client enquiries via phone, e-mail, instant message etc.
- Working in partnership with the Bangalore site in a global team
- Identifying opportunities to promote greater efficiencies within the process
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Excellent analytical skills/strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management, escalation and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and bring tasks to completion within established timeframes
- Dealing with client enquiries
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Experience working with remote teams
- Working knowledge of MS Office

- SWIFT knowledge
- Financial institution experience
