As a Control Program Manager you will be required to support and lead the delivery of end-to-end requirements within the Corporate Investment Banks Central Controls Office Business Change Controls team. You and the team is responsible for developing & supporting monitoring processes and controls across the Corporate Investment Bank. These controls ensure that activities are undertaken in compliance with corporate policy, local law, rules and regulations. The projects encompass the management of change across business controls and technology processes, driving technology innovation in conjunction with engagement of multiple stakeholder groups including Legal, Compliance, Technology, Control Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to define scope, benefits, requirements and timeline
  • Document deliverable plans, delivering to time, cost and quality whilst ensuring subsequent test planning and execution
  • Communication with key stakeholders, including implementation plans and training
  • Partner with Technology to refine / prioritise requirements and oversee delivery of system releases
  • Supporting Working Groups and Steering committees
  • Proactively identify and resolve barriers, risks and interdependencies
  • Identify and communicate control gaps, risks, proposed improvements with Involvement in other key global, strategic initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of working in a program environment, with the ability to shape and deliver projects with technology partners, preferably within an Agile environment
  • Experience of business analysis including requirements management, test management
  • The ability to interpret and understand technical requirements
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritise effectively
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills and demonstrated ability to work across functions and balance the needs of multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong presentation skills including generating presentations, project scorecards, and executive communications
  • Creative and innovative problem solver, ability to communicate new ideas, and inspire support

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of CIB products (Markets, Banking, Securities Services, Payments) preferable
  • Experience in Financial Services, Operational Risk Management, Control Oversight and/or similar role
  • Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint
