As part of the DPS (Digital & Platform Services) F&BM (Finance & Business Management) organization, the DPS F&BM Tools and Transformation Team plays a key role in ensuring our critical systems are stable and improving, as well as identifying areas of process improvement, and driving their associated transformation programs. We also play a key role in building out our strategic tooling ecosystem and extracting useful system data to drive decisions for our business. As our platform continues to grow, we are seeking a Data Analytics and Automation Associate who will be responsible for analyzing data sets and help drive data driven decisions, leverage data to create metrics and reporting, pattern mine and perform impact analysis, and deploying solutions that innovate and transform the processes through global collaboration and end to end partnership.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze, Design, Develop and Execute automation framework/scripts, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements
  • Work with global stakeholders to understand the process, pain areas and propose and execute automation by leveraging Alteryx, Xceptor, VBA and Python, other related tools
  • Partner with upstream data producers and product owners to identify cross-impacts and execute plans for remediation
  • Learn and understand the business processes and develop good understanding of complex datasets, dependencies and their linkages
  • Participate in discovery / design sessions and engage with SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) in working groups to execute proof of concept solutions
  • Support the program manager in shaping the overall product strategy based off discoveries (such as the identification of common themes and repeatable patterns, scalable solutions, etc.)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in AI / ML and “no-code / low code” tools with advance knowledge in Alteryx, Xceptor, SQL, VBA and related skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail; capable of synthesizing and summarizing complex data or findings to drive decision making
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership and accountability
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) and partner with key stakeholders, product owners, team members, from junior staff through senior management, to help advance project agenda
  • Able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment on multiple projects in parallel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Finance, accounting or risk experience
  • Data and tooling transformation project experience
  • Experience in creating and analysing complex workflows and SQL database queries, and execute solutions to make the processes efficient
  • Experience in operational, process or organizational design and related change management activities
