This is a hands-on role for a senior Software Engineer who wants to be part of a flat-structure organization. The responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.
As a Full-stack Engineer in our Growth Platform division, you will craft tools that empower Marketing and Product teams to optimise customer engagement. You will be a key player in building a dynamic platform designed for scalability and adaptability across multiple products and markets. Your work involves hands-on development across mobile apps, websites, backend services, and MarTech supplier integrations and will usher in a new era of customer understanding, communication and value delivery.
Required Skills/Experience
Qualifications in computer science or STEM related field (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) or foreign equivalent.
Recent hands-on professional experience as a full-stack software engineer in an agile, dynamic and customer facing environment.
Recent experience with using a JVM language (Java/Kotlin, preferably Java 11+)
Recent experience with UI development (JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, preferably React Native)
Experience with developing microservices, as well as understanding of distributed systems and event driven architectures using Kafka or similar.
Experience in all the stages of software development lifecycle (requirements, design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, release and support)
Understanding of dependency injection frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot, etc.)
Understanding of cloud technologies (preferably AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
Understanding of security frameworks / standards
Understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies
Understanding of relational databases
A solid approach to writing unit level tests using mocking frameworks, as well as automating component, integration and end-to-end tests.
Good to have
Understanding of advertising platforms, ecosystems, and concepts such as DSP's, DMP's, Ad Networks, Ad Hubs, CDP's, etc.
Experience in integrating multiple vendors into the ecosystem and proposing architecture changes to improve our product offering.
Experience in automating deployment, releases and testing in continuous integration, continuous delivery pipelines
Understanding of distributed tracing and monitoring (Zipkin, OpenTracing, Prometheus, ELK stack, Micrometer metrics, etc.)
