Position Summary
Collateral Services Operations is a rapidly growing area offering a wide variety of Collateral based products to a varied client base, ranging from the Broker Dealer groups to Hedge Funds to Global Fund Managers. Our products are constantly developing in line with new business opportunities.
The Securities Collateral Management Operations team supports 2 main products: Securities Lending Escrow (SLE) and Tri Party Repo (TPR). Securities Lending Escrow is an established product which provides a Collateral Management Service to support stock lending between large Borrowers and Lenders. Tri Party Repo is a trading activity whereby cash is lent from one client to another on a secured basis at an agreed rate for an agreed term. Client Service Representative (CSR) Teams - Accurately manage client accounts and collateral allocation, liaise directly with clients whilst adhering to strict market deadlines and internal controls. You will ensure timely collateralization of client accounts
Job responsibilities
- Verification of free of payment and cash transactions within market deadlines; and verification of Operations control checks via Operations Task Manager, ensuring all key control checks are completed accurately and within a timely manner
- Management of a team of CSRs ensuring the team are provided the opportunity to develop in their roles
- Ensure regular one to ones are completed and training plans are maintained and constantly reviewed
- Maintain strong relationships with Client Service teams and ensure any client issues are escalated in a timely manner
- Partnering with Middle Office and Client Service teams to ensure Client’s receive exceptional service
- Active participation in weekly Governance meetings, ensuring all Operations metrics are reviewed and any issues highlighted
- Participate in Operations Manual processing reviews and identify opportunities to reduce the number of manual tasks completed by the Global Tri-Party teams; as well as participation in Client Due Diligence meetings and service calls
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Proven Client Service skills and problem solving
- Numeracy, attention to detail, accuracy and organised
- Ability to understand complex models within financial sphere
- Flexible approach to working hours and overtime is key, including UK bank holidays and occasional weekend work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a dynamic team environment; as well as ability to work under own initiative
- Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent – education within subjects relating to finance favourable – e.g. Maths, Economics etc.

- Collateral Management experience Experience within Collateral favourable
