As a Pension Transfer/Operations Team Lead, you will be managing a team of Operations Specialists who are responsible for managing a variety of Pension Operations functions such as Transfers, Drawdown and Contributions. You will review team performance, provide insight and recommendations to help us improve our end to end processes and staff experience/progression. You’ll also be making sure we are ready for key changes and supporting us to operationalise and embed these to maintain high performance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- A solid understanding of the technical aspects of transferring assets between providers, with Subject Matter Expert experience of transfer systems specifically Origo.
- Financial Services Operations Management experience (Transfer experience within Investment Services is a must) and the ability to develop the people that will report into you by setting objectives and building career pathways
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, customer process flows and have a keen eye for aligning the operational process detail, with an excellent customer outcome Experience with best practices in mobile design (human interface guidelines, threading, bandwidth considerations etc).
- You’ll be passionate about creating a seamless end to end customer experience, creating multiple contact points along the way and ensuring that client queries and requests are managed in line with quality and service standards.
- Ability to engage in debate on customer experience and a genuine desire to help customers
- Flexible approach to working hours – you will be required to work on weekends and public holidays during peak periods.
- The ability to manage difficult conversations and be comfortable with performance management when required.
