Join Risk Reporting & Middle Office (RRMO), a group within Corporate Risk which is responsible for reporting and analysis to internal Risk Management and to Regulators; monitoring controls and the quality of risk data, and is accountable for the management and execution of key reporting projects. The group produce daily, weekly & monthly risk/ financial overview reports which are used by various key stakeholder, external parties such as Regulators as well as the Firm's most senior management to monitor risk profiles. The group also has project management responsibilities for major projects within and outside the group.
As a Market Risk Reporting Associate in the RRMO group within the Market Risk Reporting team in Bournemouth, you will work closely with stakeholders to produce reports at the Firmwide and Legal Entity level used to assess and monitor the Firm’s capital requirements. This role is an ideal opportunity for you as an experienced and enthusiastic person to learn or expand knowledge of market risk management in one of the leading global financial services firms. - Delivers high quality reporting with effective visualization of key firmwide risks and exposures
- Manages daily feeds, maintain and update reporting templates and procedure documentation, sustain and review data sources including the maintenance of data queries and other aspects of reporting infrastructure
- Identifies data quality issues and liaise with appropriate stakeholders for resolution
- Demonstrates effective collaboration with cross functional stakeholders (Market Risk Coverage, Upstream Data Providers, Controls, Technology )
- Contributes to business resiliency initiatives for robust and continued reporting
- Demonstrates ability to execute strategic automation projects from design, implementation to delivery
- Develops understanding of the products and business activities that generate market risk
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in reporting, financial analytics, or similar roles
- Ability to multitask, think independently, and make continuous progress towards meeting business objectives
- Strong analytical skills and control mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data science and visualization tools such as Alteryx & Tableau
