The Strategic Equity Solutions Vice-President will focus on cross-divisional business collaboration and delivering the power of the full JPMorgan Chase franchise, in partnership with the Senior Strategic Equity Solutions (‘SES’) specialist in EMEA – part of a global team of specialists. They will support the Senior Strategic Equity Solutions (‘SES’) specialist to act as the single point of contact representing the most institutional, customized, high touch offering for clients, structuring solutions to help our clients manage their concentrated equity positions and seamlessly partnering with other key groups within the Private Bank including 23 Wall to provide a comprehensive product suite to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing as a contributing member of the Strategic Equity Solutions team within the Private Bank (“PB”), with specific focus on concentrated stock and derivatives financing solutions
- High touch joint coverage of JPM PB’s most active and sophisticated institutional clients across EMEA in partnership with the Senior SES Specialist.
- Understanding & effectively communicating JPM PB’s views & solutions to clients to help them meet their various financial objectives. Prepare impactful, execution ready and suitability compliant content to existing and prospective clients, as needs / opportunities arise
- Establishing a close working partnership with colleagues across IB and PB, including 23 Wall, the Cross Asset Solutions and Cross Asset Trading teams and Strategic Equity Solutions Group and Capital Markets within IB.
- Developing relationships with client advisors across all markets in EMEA locations in partnership with the Senior SES Specialist, coordinating as a unified team to deepen existing relationships
- Developing a thorough understanding of the Private Banking platform and progressively taking ownership of the process flows to ensure the success of the team
- Identifying appropriate clients for the Strategic Equity Solutions coverage model, and assist in onboarding new client relationships
- Providing input in developing new products based on market/client needs
- Preparing presentation materials, client proposals/reports, and briefings for senior management
- Working together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements, and compliance with internal policies
- May require travel into coverage markets under the supervision and in partnership with the Senior Strategic Equity Solutions Specialist.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Proficient understanding of concentrated stock disposal, hedging, financing cash and derivatives solutions from a trading / sales / risk management perspective
- Experience in investment banking, private side structuring, holistic solutions for ultra-high net worth entrepreneurs and family offices is a plus
- Proficiency in local languages for the markets covered in Europe is a plus
- Experience in a client-facing role required i.e., AWM Analyst Program conclusion in the Private Bank or similar
- Motivation to continue developing own understanding of market risks from a pricing and execution perspective
- Derivatives Structuring or equivalent product exposure is a plus
- University degree holder and / or with 5+ years of professional experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines, as well as the appropriate qualifications and licenses
