As a Payment Lifecycle Manager in Payments team you'll serve as the site manager for day to day reconciliation processes. You will be responsible for making routine and complex business decisions that have both customer and financial impact. Serve as the escalation point for reconciliation team within Financial Operations, engage with technology partners to resolve issues, enhance processes and help lead a wide variety of initiatives
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor workflow of unit including gathering statistics for performance indicators; daily and monthly volumes
- Provide direction to team for training account inventories and user tools Maintain accounts under clearing standards, monitor accounts daily for “aging” items making sure items are cleared timely and properly
- Escalation point for complex problems, responsible for identifying system issues that impact customers and suggesting solutions
- Understand reconciliation processes in order to resolve issues, identify gaps and opportunities to improve processes
- Engage with business partners across CIB to solve issues and implement new products
- Liaise with partner sites for external deliveries and communicate status effectively and in a timely manner to local management and partner sites
- Ensure all the risk and control checks are adhered to and we maintain an audit ready environment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills
- Related bank operations, reconciliation or account experience preferred
- Good understanding of accounting/reconciliation concepts and account transaction workflow
- Demonstrate teamwork and build internal relationships across locations with partner sites
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
- Risk, control, and procedure oriented
- Previous management experience and leadership skills
