Client Operations Senior Associate

Merchant Compliance and Data Compromise department gives a chance to work with with merchants, service providers, relationship managers, executives and Payment Brand representatives.

As a Client Operations Senior Associate in the Merchant Compliance and Data Compromise department you will have a dual focus and responsibility for tracking and reporting Level 1-3 merchants’ Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards compliance status to the Card Brands as well as managing Common Points of Purchase Compromise cases with the Card Brands. You will consult with merchants, service providers, relationship managers, executives and Payment Brand representatives to promote merchant adoption of compliance and orchestrating breach investigations.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure that Level 1-3 merchants are educated regarding compliance as well as intervening and negotiating with the Payment Brands on behalf of the merchants.
• Be a subject matter expert on PCI, PCI controls and different technological environments
• Report updates and historical data for effective breach investigations between the Card Brand and Merchants
• Ensure proper data management, reporting and reconciliation of all accounts within your managed portfolio

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and time management skills
• Strong and effective skills in problem solving and analytical reasoning
• A strong interest in, and general understanding of Merchant Services, compliance, quality, operations, legal, & risk
• Strong customer/client focus while ensuring a sound control environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill and the ability to present at an executive level
• Strategic thinking; proven ability to drive change
• Ability to prioritize multiple complex situations to deliver successful results

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in Merchant Services industry
• Experience working with vendors/integrators/value added resellers
