The International Mortgage Product Manager will be an integral part of the Private Bank Banking Operations team and is responsible for developing, presenting, and maintaining the vision and roadmap for the International Mortgage product.
In addition, the role will also be responsible for overseeing a team of Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Testers, ensuring their scrum teams are synthesizing business objectives and effectively using Agile development principles to develop features for key initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- You will help in the development and communication of the product vision and roadmap, adjust and respond to changing conditions and organizational needs, working closely with Business Stakeholders
- Support the whole program through the clarification of business needs, direction and features
- You will help break down initiatives into prioritized features and provides guidance on the prioritization of the program backlog for each release
- Facilitate the necessary conversations between the Business and Technology to determine the what and the how of the product features
- Manage, coach, and develop junior employees
- Ensure the efficient function of Scrum teams through the development and use of program guidelines, reporting, and performance metrics
- You will lead special projects as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Relevant experience in business operations, business process improvement, project execution, or technology roles
- Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment. Strong project management skills, and ability to collaborate with multiple points of contact in order to achieve results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and sell a vision
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels, including the executive presence to interact with and influence Senior Management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and VISIO) and Jira to perform daily duties
- BS/BA or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience in dealing with the Mortgage industry
- People management experience
- Relevant experience in working within agile project teams, preferably as a Product Manager
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certified
