SUMMERY OF ROLE/JOB DESCRIPTION –

The Marketing Project Manager role is for an experienced, disciplined, delivery-focused, and pro-active professional who has demonstrated execution of a digital product business in a scaled agile delivery framework. You’ll be working with marketing teams responsible for delivering products across Europe. You’ll also be supported by a Senior Delivery Lead who will be oversee the Marketing & Growth Tribe.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and optimizing the marketing operational and product feature roadmap to ensure customer value is delivered in line with the overall business and program objectives and timelines
  • Hosting regular sprint synchronization meetings between the squads to manage and track the inter-squad and tribe actions and dependencies
  • Resolving blockers to feature execution by facilitating resource prioritization or identifying mitigation options
  • Facilitating change management and associated impacts on plans and release to production
  • Enabling decision making by engaging appropriate stakeholders
  • Managing, tracking and escalating risks and issues to the plan
  • Drive continuous improvement through the review of delivery metrics and reports with the marketing chapter leads to facilitate optimization of performance and planning
  • Report on sprint delivery and accomplishments with the Product Owner and Product Managers
  • Influence Squads to adopt Agile practices and improve ways of working with pragmatism
  • Work with Vendor Delivery Managers and Product Managers to ensure key vendor dependencies are in plan and tracked
  • Ensure that the program governance, standards and best practices are followed in line with the program management and execution chapter
  • Contribute to the overall program plan reporting on the progress on the marketing tribe
  • Engaging with other (PME) Delivery Managers to ensure internal dependencies and timelines are tracked
  • Enable continuous improvement and high quality outcomes through the application of Agile methodologies, as well as analysing and improving the squads by acting on metrics

Skills/ Qualifications should include:

  • Experience in marketing program management ideally delivering digital banking products to customers eg campaign management, creative development etc
  • Delivered a range of digital products to customers using Lean/Agile methodologies, including with Kanban
  • Supported multidisciplinary teams that have included marketing, designers, testers, developers and product managers
  • Ability to switch between diving into details and creating the big picture
  • Ability to prioritize and multi–task within tight deadlines
  • Managed and worked within budgets and time-pressured environments
  • Used delivery data to forecast key deliverables and communicate a project’s status clearly with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Proactively spotted risks to delivery and helped teams mitigate them
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with experience in managing senior stakeholders
  • Proficient user in Atlassian and Microsoft suite of applications – Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
