Global Financial Crime Compliance (GFCC) is responsible for the provision of Compliance services to the firm relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions.

The EMEA Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) GFCC Testing Team is responsible for the timely and effective management and execution of the EMEA CCOR GFCC monitoring and testing programme across multiple lines of business. In this role you will support the Head of EMEA GFCC Testing in the planning and execution of the EMEA GFCC Monitoring and Testing Program in line with the firm’s expectation. The Testing Team partners and supports Line of Business Compliance Officers and other areas of Compliance globally.

Job responsibilities

  • Testing of businesses impacted by Regulatory Changes relating to GFCC
  • Co-ordination with line of business Compliance Managers including the GFCC dedicated teams
  • Perform issue validations in line with the firm’s expectations
  • Working closely with Internal Audit and CCOR Compliance to ensure the effectiveness of the CCOR Monitoring and Testing programme
  • Work with global testing partners to lead or support global monitoring and testing assignments as directed
  • Involvement in departmental projects particularly in relation to the development of the Annual CCOR Monitoring and Testing Plan

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Possess AML/Audit or relevant Industry Qualifications or a University Degree
  • Have proven experience in Compliance or Assurance (Audit or similar)
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to interpret financial regulations and regulatory requirements, and assess operational Compliance with those requirements with a focus on financial crime risk
  • Have clear and concise verbal and written skills, and be able to construct and deliver Testing Reports to senior management
  • Have good organisational skills with an ability to manage, prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess good interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility with senior business and CCOR partners
  • Be a team player, able to work with other team members across CCOR
