Situated within a dynamic, collaborative and agile team, this role allows you to develop key product and technical knowledge and project management skills. You will report to the Global Projects Manager and will be responsible for supporting and representing the Global Futures & Derivatives Clearing Product Control team with a primary focus on new infrastructure onboarding and implementing greater controls & governance across the team

You will partner with the Futers & Derivatives Clearing Business, Technology, Operations and other stakeholders to drive and implement large scale projects, owning requirements and testing and presenting updates to senior management.

The Global Futures & Derivatives Clearing business rolls up to the Global Equities LOB within the Corporate & Investment Bank and helps clients clear and settle derivative transactions globally across a full suite of products including listed futures, options, FX, rates and credit derivatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving a number of global projects forward in parallel, such as PnL Aggregator onboarding, Billing Infrastructure Migrations, new business initiatives
  • Organize and lead meetings with key stakeholders and represent the Global Product Control team in Project Working Groups
  • Coordinate and lead testing efforts with the regional product control teams for new or enhanced technology changes
  • Manage tracking and maintenance of the Global and Regional teams Projects book of work, providing updates to management
  • Partner and support the Global Product Control team in Asia, EMEA & NA to push strategic projects, process automation and agenda items forward as needed
  • Work with product development and technology on prioritization an implementation of finance related projects
  • Implement best in class controls around current processes and deliverable, through implementing knowledge of Global Product Controller Minimum Standards for PnL and Risk

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills – both written and verbal, specifically to senior audiences
  • A proactive team player, who navigates the organization effectively to get things done and has the ability to think outside the box
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and who also thrives on challenges in a dynamic working environment
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining effective controls
  • Self-motivated and results driven individual who has the ability to multi-task and execute a variety of deliverables in a high paced environment

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel, whilst experience with JIRA tool is an advantage
