Investment Solutions provides Wealth Management clients with investment management solutions across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset and money market funds.
Job Summary
As a Fixed Income Multi-Asset Analyst, you will be a member of the Manager Solutions team within the Wealth Management Investment Solutions Team. The group is responsible for performing due diligence on and collaborating with external third-party managers providing discretionary and brokerage clients within Wealth Management with access to Global Multi-Sector, Opportunistic, Extended Credit, Emerging Market and Multi-Asset managers.
Job responsibilities
- Perform ongoing investment due diligence on the suite of external managers approved on the Wealth Management platform
- Collaborate with internal partners in investment solutions, investment- and operational due diligence, risk management, and governance to communicate key due diligence findings
- Support senior analysts in identifying, analyzing and onboarding external managers on the Wealth Management platform
- Conduct research on the industry to derive trends, developments and changes to the relative attractiveness of investment strategies
- Identify potential process improvements and collaborate across the broader Manager Solutions team
- Support the Product Specialists team on fund- and strategy-specific client inquiries
- Monitor markets to understand current drivers and market sentiment at the asset class and sub-asset class level
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor degree
- CFA charter holder is a plus; encouraged to pursue while on the team
- Aptitude for problem solving that relies on complex data, attention to detail, quantitative analysis and Microsoft Office applications
- Some relevant work experience with a focus on investment management; some experience in portfolio management, research generation, or due diligence of multi-asset class portfolios is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment on a global team
