The external reporting function handles the oversight of the financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment; understands and applies accounting treatments and ensures compliance with appropriate corporate and regulatory requirements; reports and analyses various financial metrics to and for a range of stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze financial data, including performing period-over-period variance analysis
• Clearly communicate financial information to the business and other stakeholders, and flag potential issues
• Participate in various aspects of the production, review and filing of periodic reports for various regulatory agencies
• Adhere to various control procedures to ensure the integrity of reported financial results
• Ensure accurate and complete data submission to the regulators
• Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including process re-engineering and automation
