As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Data & Analytics Office, AI/ML Platform Data Platform, you are an integral part of a team that works on prototyping activities and writing and maintaining Infrastructure as code components for multiple clouds. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains, such as Platform Architecture domains including Entitlements, Security architecture, Reusable components, FinOps with a basic understanding of MLOPs and Serving concepts.

Job responsibilities

• Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Works on Prototyping and Proof of concepts to help build architectural concepts
• Ensures Seamless Provisioning with Embedded Observability and Operationalisation of the Services to support Product vision
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and advanced applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in Python & Lambdas, with a solid understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Advanced knowledge of Cloud (AWS) across AI/ML, Severless, Compute and Data services
• Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning Operations
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• AWS Certification is preferred
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) and other software engineering languages (GoLang or Java) will be beneficial for the future of the project
• Knowledge of OpenAI & Bedrock
