Our office is based in the cultural heart of London’s West End with a vast array of classic record shop and leading film companies, media offices and restaurants. Regent’s Park is close enough for a lunchtime run, as are the delights of Piccadilly Circus and the shopping mecca of Oxford Street. It is conveniently walking distance from a number of London tube stations and mainline train stations. We have a free on-site gym and well-stocked kitchen.

Your Mission
You will be part of Activision Blizzard and King’s EMEA legal team, working in a collaborative and exciting environment where your ideas will be every bit as valued as your expertise.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Brand protection – Assisting with King IP prosecution & portfolio management incl monitoring watch notices / app infringements and assisting in takedowns
- Trademark & marketing clearance – to support in protecting new King IP and/or clearing assets produced for in-game/marketing purposes. The clearance process requires thorough and detailed investigative research online and familiarity with TM databases and TM searching (USPTO; IPO; OHIM).
- Various administrative and legal support to legal team – review of ABK commercial contract clauses, conducting legal research, partnering with colleagues in different jurisdictions and maintaining & updating legal documentation and document management databases.

Qualifications/Training
- Law Degree (LPC or equivalent)
- Experience in a law firm and/or in house, preferably with some European and/or US exposure
Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities
- General IP experience preferably in trademark and marketing clearance and/or prosecution and enforcement
- Excellent written and communication skills (English)
- Excellent attention to detail and research skills
- Proficiency in using office software
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus
