Due to growth we are currently recruiting for a Regional Network Manager (Motor) working within our Claims Engineering Team.
The position will be home/field-based working 3 days from home and 2 days field based.
This role will cover either the North West or South East regions depending on the location of the successful applicant.
Role Purpose
Effectively help manage the LV Own Network on a day to day basis, ensuring the LV Own Network delivers high level performance and is fully compliant to the requirements set by LV. Conduct Performance management reviews and meetings with LV Own Repairers and review performance against set Key Performance Indicators.
Key Accountabilities
Participate in monthly / bi monthly LV Own Repairer meetings and carry out regular performance reviews to ensure overall focus and awareness.
Complete on board compliance audits with new LV Own Repairers to the Network to ensure suitability and ensuring adherence to regulations.
Conduct annual compliance audits with existing LV Own Network Repairers ensuring continued adherence to regulations and LV requirements and have provided relevant documents to substantiate.
Conduct external repair audits at LV Own Repairers to ensure the relevant repair process, methods and parts have been undertaken in line with contractual terms.
Network Cost reviews and the analysis of individual Network Repairers AVRC (average repair cost) trends to specific detail and understanding for the purpose of close cost monitoring.
Provide assistance on complaint and Money back cases in the event of disputes.
Conduct performance review meetings on a SME (Subject Matter Expert) basis with individual Network areas and help develop the Commercial / HGV Network, Motorcycle Network, Prestige Underwriting, Ford Network and Taxi Networks.
Attend and help co-ordinate LV Own Forums in association with the Technical Engineering Manager and the Network Management Team
Attend selected trade functions to build understanding and knowledge of the Motor Repair Network Industry.
Point of reference for Network Management Team for technical assistance in relation to performance management
Investigation into new technology to ensure LV is updated on industry developments.
Working with the Network management Team, ensure LV has suitable Network coverage within the UK that meet Capacity requirements
Complete investigation into potential new LV Repairers to ensure the relevant partnerships strengthen the LV Network
Consistently demonstrate and promote the Company values in all aspects of work and through communications with both internal and external customers/suppliers.
The jobholder may be required to undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required of him/her.
Secondary Accountabilities
Undertake and manage Network Repairer development projects in association with Network Manager
Attend general monthly meetings on behalf of Network Management.
Effective liaison with FNOL and Claims departments, and other Group departments.
Undertake selected Network related projects.
Dimensions
Conduct repair audits to ensure relevant repair process, methods and parts have been undertaken in line with contractual terms
Responsible for ensuring that the LV Network is maintained in accordance with regulatory bodies and LV compliance terms.
Support Network Management to ensure repairers performance achieve required levels
To arrange and complete compliance audits on new LV Own Repairers and to ensure all required documentation is completed in accordance with LV requirements.
To visit and report back on various visits with Repairers and other Bodyshop Industry companies.

Regular contact with relevant Bodyshop Management System Suppliers.
Regular contact with other Group departments, e.g. Claims, FNOL, Finance, IT, Engineering
Occasional contact with external suppliers e.g. Enterprise, Audatex.
Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience
Experience working at Engineering and Network level in an office or home based environment.
Excellent negotiating skills to manage the relationship with Network Repairers
Ability to carry out statistical analysis.
Experience or extended knowledge of Approved Repairer / Bodyshop industry
Sound knowledge of Computer Assisted costing systems
Thorough knowledge of Thatcham times/methodology
A good level of understanding of Bodyshop regulations and industry standard requirements.
Experience in conducting Engineering audits
Good overall education to GCSE level, including Maths & English or equivalent business experience.
Working knowledge of MS Office products including using spreadsheets.
