The Lead Systems Thinking Consultant role is very much about executive mentoring as they go on their Systems Thinking journey and ensuring that the approach adopted is right for their business and supports the delivery of their strategic agenda.
Building capability across the business helping to deliver sustainability is also really important for us, we want Systems Thinking in everything we do.
About Your Opportunity
The team has wide reach within the organisation and has developed our approach to systems thinking based on the Vanguard Method. As such there is a great opportunity to help shape the way this develops – we are the centre of excellence.
You'll be working with leaders at all levels (with a focus on senior leaders) to help deliver strategic and commercial outcomes through a shift in leadership thinking (aligned to Systems Thinking).
Your focus:

Delivering and embedding a systems thinking culture.

Support leaders to embed the delivery of the group strategy, building leadership and operational capability.

Support the delivery of a focused and improved customer experience differentiated where appropriate.

Work with Functional Executives and senior leaders to understand how the whole system is working from a financial perspective (typically beyond the immediate area of intervention/focus)

Help shift the thinking and behaviour as well as the strategy to help identify and tackle system conditions.

Help understanding on the economic model for the business area and challenge decisions to ensure they are made using data to ensure the improvement of the system to deliver the right customer outcomes

Use knowledge and data to challenge current assumptions and drive change within the system. Ensure that decisions regarding change are based on knowledge and data, and account for the impact of change across the whole system.
