Role Description
We are excited to welcome a Data Enrichment Manager to join our fast Growing and hugely successful Data Science team, made up of over 50 talented and diverse Data Engineers, Scientists, Analysts and Hunters.
As a team we receive tens of millions of requests daily, which means we constantly have to be on top of our game. As such, we are constantly striving to work with the best talent and technologies in order to stay at the forefront to beat the best.
As the Data Enrichment Manager, you will manage the day to day running of Data Enrichment products, input into the Data Hunting Strategy & optimise our external Data capability, whilst collaborating to help deliver all other elements of LVGI’s Data Science strategy.
Your focus:

Work closely with the Head of Data hunting on delivery of the Data Hunting Strategy.

Build and maintain relationships with various areas of the GI business.

Build, maintain & maximise relationships with key third party suppliers.

Build, maintain & maximise relationships with Procurement, legal & Supplier Relationship Management teams.

Act as the business lead in contract negotiations with data suppliers
-
Act as the business lead in relationships with Data suppliers
-
Act as a central point of Data Enrichment expertise, identify opportunities for new Data opportunities & promote the use of external Data throughout LVGI
-
Oversee the performance & problem resolution for Data Enrichment Services & associated data submissions.

Support delivery of projects involving Data Enrichment capability.

Promote the Data Hunting strategy in project delivery.

Ensure external Data services are managed in line with Data regulation.

Manage Operational Risk & Controls for Data Enrichment services.

Manage day to day running of the Data Hunting budget.

Assist with management of non-machine learning Data enquiries
About you
You will have previous experience in management of Data contracts & Third-Party relationships with experience leading Third Party data contract negotiation.
You will have knowledge of Data regulation .
You will have working knowledge of Data Enrichment Services and their use within General Insurance with experience of leading technical projects around Data Enrichment delivery.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way and when required the ability to Influence, negotiation.
You will be quick to learn with the ability to prioritise activities and be responsive to the needs of the business and have the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
You will be able manage relationships with stakeholders and external driving process improvements.
Our Ways of Working
We have sites in London, Bristol & Bournemouth and you’ll be working closely with the entire team across these offices. The Bristol office is part of our partnership with the University of Bristol.
Our office with flex model means that you will have the opportunity to work from home as well as the office. As a hybrid worker you will be in the office between 2 and 16 days per month depending on individual and business need.
