Our International Development Services Unit are recruiting for a Unit Management Accountant. This Senior level role will develop and deliver the operational financial support to assist in financial and accounting matters.
You will be responsible for managing the Unit's finance team, providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities, representing finance matters for the Unit with and across the wider Group, sponsoring and driving improvements.

Your responsibilities will include preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, assessing the financial aspects of contracts in order to identify risk, facilitate invoicing and payments, provide overhead analysis data to assist with cost management and the preparation and review of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

For the role you will be a qualified accountant with significant relevant experience which includes managing a team and operating and developing an offshore back-office function. You will have strong analytical ability with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a strong communicator, proven in managing deliverable schedules to tight deadlines.
