As an employee owned engineering, management and development consultancy, we like to look at problems from a fresh angle while finding opportunities in complexity. With the diversity of skills and expertise provided by our staff, we’re constantly looking at sustainable solutions and ensuring that the decisions we make have positive consequences for society.
We believe that a diverse workforce unlocks innovation along with a diverse range of ideas, so it is important to us that we promote an inclusive work environment where every employee feels they can achieve their full potential.

As well as being proud of our people, we’re also proud of their hard work. We have strong values that underpin everything we do and we’re fortunate that our staff share these values too. All our project outcomes address directly or indirectly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Our vision? To be the leading global partner in advancing sustained economic, social and environmental wellbeing.
Shape your future with us
A career at Mott MacDonald means that not only will you be immersed in knowledge from some of the best people in the industry, but we’ll also help you steer your career in whichever direction you wish to take it. Whether you’re working directly on projects or within one of our innovative support teams, you’ll constantly be connecting with the best minds.
We like to think of ourselves as one big family, not just at work but outside of work too. Work-life balance is key, so the range of activities organised by our office sports and social committees is almost as diverse as the people who work for us. Our Advance employee network also provides a variety of equality, diversity and inclusion opportunities and staff events.
We’re committed to promoting a strong culture of social responsibility too and encourage our staff to play active roles in the local community.
Reconnecting after a career break
In 2018 we launched our now hugely successful Re:Connectors programme. The programme offers opportunities for experienced professionals who have had a career break of two or more years to gain valuable experience and rebuild their careers.
