Key elements of the role, responsibilities and reporting lines:

While you will report into the IEC Manager and work alongside another IEC Officer, you will also regularly work with the regional graphic design team and wider IEC network within the region and at global level.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting regional business areas with designing and implementing their IEC plans and initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand, identify and advise on engagement opportunities and requirements
  • With the support of the IEC manager, devise engagement and communication plans for programmes and campaigns, aligning materials with our brand and tone of voice
  • Write and produce deliverables to increase awareness, understanding and usage, using all appropriate internal communication channels and tools to support campaign objectives
  • Update and maintain tracker with required internal deliverables to ensure that all initiatives are logged, all necessary approvals are obtained, and all communications go out in the right order and to deadline
  • Monitor feedback and review metrics to measure the impact of our communications activities
  • Be a brand champion; ensure all materials align with our brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Be a digital champion; review all proposed materials to ensure they meet the needs of the target audience while also aligning with our digital strategy
  • Work with team members and internal stakeholders to identify news, success stories and thought leadership pieces for use internally, and to pass on to marketing for external use
  • Assist with managing regional internal events (webinars, internal awards, forums, etc.), surveys, presentations and videos
