As a Technical Advisor, your responsibilities encompass a broad range of tasks. You will be tasked with delivering individual schemes for clients or collaborating under a team leader to provide a portfolio of projects.
This role involves leading project teams comprised of both internal and external consultants. You will initiate, manage, and deliver projects under our business management systems (BMS), establishing budgets and monitoring the financial performance of these projects. Additionally, you will contribute to business development activities under the direction of the account lead.
Required for the position of Technical Advisor, you should have:
- Experience of project management in the construction industry with the focus on delivering MoJ or Home Office related projects through all stages of the project cycle
- Be a qualified member of a recognised relevant professional body with chartered status, or be approaching chartered status;
- Contract administration experience and application of CDM and Health and Safety standards
- Experience of working in the public and private sector on stand-alone schemes and on frameworks
- Technical engineering background desired
You will be self-motivated and proactive, a team player with the ability to work collaboratively within internal and external teams and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
