The Role
The Senior Consultant, Policy, Framework & Governance - Crisis Management is a critical role ensuring the operational readiness of business continuity team and crisis response to disruption events. This role will drive and implement operational risk and compliance initiatives, policies, and frameworks as and when required globally, in consultation with the Head of Resilience & Crisis Management to support the high performance of a Centre of Excellence Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish governance program to ensure all compliance and policy requirements are met
- Develop reporting on operational risk, compliance, policy, framework and controls and record Finding and Treatment Plans in GRACE to highlight non-compliance and significant gaps and opportunities to uplift
- Design and operate Controls across Business Continuity and Crisis Management including management of Control Self Assessments and supporting Enterprise Controls with annual review
- Manage obligations, frameworks, artefact version control and annual reviews
- Support delivery of training and exercises across the company (Business Continuity & Incident/Crisis Management) to meet policy requirements and uplift capability across members and the Company
- The role requires incumbent to be available 24/7 (via a monthly roster/rotation) to support business continuity activations and incident and crisis response to business disruption events
- Supporting broader Resilience & Crisis Management Team with day to day accountabilities
What you will need:
- Understanding of Operational Risk and Compliance, Controls, GRACE
- Ability to focus and drive change effectively
- Proven Stakeholder Management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Crisis Management, Business Continuity & Resilience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple deliverables and tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels
