As a Continuous Improvement Specialist in
this brand new role, you'll work closely with our depot, outstation &
central functions working directly for the Head of Production to deploy Lean
strategies, introduce and champion lean thinking, principles, tools, techniques
and initiatives. Taking a lead in making change happen, you'll be responsible
for driving an exciting culture shift that challenges the way we work and
focuses on creating and growing a modern and efficient rail engineering team. One
that not only reaches best in class performance - but maintains it.
Day to day, you will be responsible for the
practical implementation of continuous improvement activities through planning,
delivering, training, coaching & mentoring our teams And you'll develop new
ways to communicate the benefits of problem solving, increased performance,
continuous improvement, and lean deployment.
We're looking for someone who's already proven
themselves in a similar continuous improvement role with experience of working
in a recognised Lean organisation, and who now wants to test their skills
across a much bigger challenge. So, you'll be an expert in your field and have
experience in implementing lean
principles, and experience or qualifications in
coaching or mentoring.
A natural leader, people manager and team
player, you're passionate about lean and continuous improvement techniques, you
can communicate effectively at all levels, and you've got the energy to make a
real impact on our business.
