Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide)
Roster: We want the best and we are flexible! Options for flexible working are real, so tell us what appeals to you! We have flights daily to site from both Adelaide or Port Augusta, and the best part is travel is 100% in company time.
Reporting to: Superintendent – Asset Management

About the Opportunity

The Maintenance Planner - Scheduler position is responsible for ensuring that the following main functions within the asset management team are delivered to achieve the future business goals in alignment with the OZ Minerals Carrapateena ‘Asset Management System Framework;

• Planning, Scheduling and Forecasting
• Asset Maintenance Strategies and Work Management Instructions
• Failure Analytics and Cost Analysis Reporting
• Master Data Excellence (Data Gathering and Analysis)
• Management of maintenance plans, schedules and activities for Carrapateena assets including surface processing and underground fixed plant infrastructure to ensure reliable completion of all maintenance activity
• Maintain end to end preventive maintenance programs via the ERP inclusive of asset specifications, task lists, resource requirements, materials and spares lists, BOM’s, documentation requirements and strategy alignment
• Control the planning/preparation activities for all scheduled maintenance activities including the review and approval of all materials, resources, work plans, work procedures and service contracts to enable execution
• Assist in analysis of reliability recommendations of corrective actions needed to reduce maintenance costs via standardised OZ Minerals reporting and analytics tools
• The role is also required to introduce new planning and scheduling technologies and solutions in conjunction with the asset management superintendent and the Carrapateena ‘AMSF’ roadmap

OZ Minerals Carrapateena ‘Asset Management System Framework’ has been developed in close alignment to ISO 55001, and in particular the relationship between the key elements of an ISO 55000 AM system. The ISO compliant framework aims to ensure that the systematic approach to asset management delivers prudent and efficient outcomes that meet both the corporate objectives and the Asset Management objectives.

More about you & your experience

• Trade Qualified/Advanced Trade/Postgraduate Studies
• Experience working in mining and resource industry
• Maintenance and Works Management Experience
• Experience using CMMS, eAM, ERP solutions
• Exposure to mobility and advanced solutions
• Application of RCM Principles and FMECA facilitation
• Process and document writing (and associated systems)
• Reporting and analytical skills (and associated systems)
• High level computer skills in Microsoft suite

Knowledge and experience with:

• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
• PM Strategy and Program Development
• Forecasting and Scheduling Solutions
• Materials Management & Supplier Engagement
• Exposure to database analytical tools
