About the Role
You will support the development of our end-to-end employee listening (voice of the employee) measurement, reporting and insights program. We run regular global Pulse surveys alongside key moments that matter surveys through the employee lifecycle.
Reporting and working with the Insights & Reporting lead, you will deliver actionable insights to a range of stakeholders from across the business.
The successful candidate will need to proactively understand and interpret employee listening survey data, dashboards and outputs to inform and create insight reports, with compelling stories based on robust analysis, that integrate the insights across different surveys and listening devices to provide solutions to critical business challenges.
In time you will be expected to create hypotheses’ leading to deep dives into rich/multiple data sets, working alongside people analytics consultants and data science teams. For such processes understanding when to fail fast is crucial, as well as producing easy to understand, action orientated conclusions.
You’ll work with colleagues to help design highly impactful dashboards that are concentrated on the right KPIs and utilize our Qualtrics solution for analytics and reporting of insight. Experience in setting up Qualtrics dashboards (and surveys) isn’t a requirement but would be beneficial to the successful applicant.
You will also play a role in supporting the development of the data literacy and analytical capabilities of our wide People & Culture (HR) teams as well as other key stakeholders in the organization so that there is a more widely dispersed analytics capability across the business and P&C function

Major accountabilities
- Proactively interpret and identify insights using employee survey data and outputs
- Undertaking ad-hoc analysis requirements partnering closely with reporting, data science and analytics consulting teams to develop holistic people analytics solutions and products
- Creation of insight “DIY” report templates for use by internal stakeholders, and supporting upskilling of P&C data literacy and understanding of self service solutions available
- Dashboard data validation, management and manipulation for ad-hoc analysis (e.g. aggregation and merging)
- Creation + checking of semi-automated insight decks
- Designing and interrogating Qualtrics dashboards
Nice to haves
- Conducting advanced statistical analysis e.g. regression/modelling to produce survey key drivers
- Experience of complex company reporting hierarchies and HR systems
- Experience working with an external research vendor(s) and managing them day to day
- Experience advising on survey methodology (e.g. questionnaire design)
- Strong UX/design experience in creating (ideally Qualtrics) reporting dashboards
- Processing and analyzing survey comments
About You
- You have at least 2 years data analysis experience ideally in employee or customer research. You are passionate about analyzing data to provide actionable insight which leads to real business change. You’ve got a real eye for detail and have a track record of delivering quality data reports.
- Understanding the business need and translating that into an analytical requirement is a vital part of this role as is communicating with stakeholders with varying knowledge
- Innovative, curious and a willingness to challenge the status quo while maintaining a collaborative approach
- You are comfortable juggling multiple projects, speaking with confidence to senior stakeholders and used to working to tight deadlines. You are experienced in at least one survey platform (Qualtrics, Confirmit, Medallia, Questback etc) so understand the advantages and limitations of such platforms.
- The successful applicant will likely have foundational knowledge of advanced Statistical techniques and how they can be applied to employee research.
- Experience of automating PowerPoint/PDF survey reports is desirable, this could be via one of the many externally available programmes (Slidefab, e-tabs etc) or via your own programming skills (e.g. VBA).
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills using Excel and a beginner to intermediate level of data science methods and / or willingness to learn would be a great asset.
- A candidate with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a highly numerical subject with experience an Analyst / Manager level in employee engagement research / consumer insights / market research within an organisation or consulting agency is strongly desired
- You will be a fluent English speaker with strong experience and capability in taking a consultative approach to insights creation, through working with senior stakeholders to provide the actionable insights.
- An individual with good awareness of the principles of GDPR and other employee data privacy, ethics and confidentiality frameworks.
