The Manager Digital Activation is responsible for driving traffic to the Philip Morris Limited (PML) e-commerce site, other digital retailers, and ultimately to contribute to PML market share growth. This role will need to build individual and organizational digital capabilities around customer acquisition, and as a leader in the Marketing & Digital team build the motivation and commitment of the team at large.
Your day to day
Contributing to developing the overall PML omnichannel strategy within paid media, social media, SEO and acquisition and to lead the implementation, in line with long-term vision and overall business objectives!
You will own and drive all digital acquisition KPI’s, constantly innovating and optimising to drive improved results.
You are an out of the box thinker when identifying strategies and tactics to raise brand awareness and traffic to website, building the organisational support to then address them.
Closely collaborating with the Consumer Experience and Commercial teams building strong plans and relationships with them to ensure a joined-up approach to consumer acquisition.
Working closely with the Marketing team to plan and deploy the marketing and promotional calendar through all channels.
Being part of an international organisation, you will also partner with our headquarters to ensure alignment with the global digital vision whilst maintaining local relevance and best-in-class execution for the UK market.
You will take ownership of all Digital Media planning, managing the budget for, and making decisions about paid search. Alongside this, you will also drive our social media activities to build the awareness, ensuring presence or engagement on the most relevant social media platforms.
As a people manager, you’ll support the performance and personal development of the Digital Acquisition team in order to ensure a motivated and effective team capable of achieving demanding objectives.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll have a thorough understanding of e-commerce and managing e-commerce through 3rd party relationships.
You’ll have a solid understanding of trade channels and digital engagement (CRM, WEB/UX/E-commerce, Paid Media (including programmatic), Social Media, Search Engine Optimization.
You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to flex your style, have a real enthusiasm for people management and relationship building and be organised in your approach.
