We are looking for a senior Regulatory Affairs Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring PMI adopts the accurate strategy to shape, lead and leverage regulatory and fiscal policies to deliver a smoke free future in the UK. Alongside this, you will be leading on the delivery of in-market Illicit Trade Prevention (ITP) strategies and implementation along with the delivery of wider global ITP objectives on an as needs basis. As such, maintaining relevant relationships at the right levels across the UK government on an ongoing basis would be required.
Your day to day
As a manager, you will be leading a team to navigate a complex and changing regulatory and fiscal environment to ensure our product portfolio supports our ambitious growth plan. You will be required to anticipate and influence changes and lead the business in this moving landscape!
You will be the point of contact for all partners in the business to depend on specific regulatory and technical support to provide regulatory guidance and advice for their decision making.
In close partnership with the Legal team, you and the team will be advising the business to which marketing strategies can be deployed across multiple channels for commercial success. You’ll need the ability to manage and mitigate risk in the face of competing commercial and regulatory demand across multiple categories.
Reporting to the External Affairs Director, you’ll be overseeing the representation of PML externally across a range of Trade Bodies on issues of both regulatory and commercial significance. This will ensure budgets are allocated effectively and efficiently in line with the strategic aims in the UK and globally.
You will be required to work closely with our Operation Centre in Lausanne, Regional colleagues, the finance, and commercial teams as well external consultants to define a regulatory and fiscal framework which delivers for the business as a whole.
