As our Procurement Account Manager, you will provide overall strategic guidance and direction for your team, leading and developing an adaptable and agile Procurement organization to deliver optimum mix 'product availability-quality-service.

Your 'day to day'

Your focus in this role is to collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to achieve early involvement in business strategy definition and to influence key decisions to improve resource allocation. You will do this by aligning local, regional, cluster and global sourcing plans to deploy global or regional initiatives locally.

Establishing this cross-functional collaboration, you’ll implement valuable initiatives that reduce waste and increase efficiency, such as offshoring, outsourcing, demand management, internal process efficiency. You’ll regularly look at benchmarks to anticipate Business needs and translate them into sourcing strategies.

You’ll be coordinating, leading and steering critical and complex negotiations while anticipating results and align with stakeholders on possible negotiation outcomes. You’ll familiarize yourself with legal templates to encompass local legislative requirements, business’ needs, IP rights, RSP Principals, company protection and exclusivity clauses. Advising colleagues and internal stakeholders on the impact of relevant clauses for contracting.

For non-critical services or goods, you’ll correctly balance the usage of customized contractual frameworks versus Purchase Orders to meet Company objectives of speed and time-to-market.

Based on defined criteria’s, you’ll segment the supply base and establish different types of supplier relationships and define governance and escalation models to lead those relationships. As part of this, you’ll link supplier capabilities and local business and procurement objectives, while working with key suppliers on value creation and risk reduction initiatives.

As an SME in this area, you’ll lead the Procure-to-Pay process, by understanding how different functional processes interact with each other and recommend relevant improvements. From this you’ll introduce key control measures and relevant KPI's to assure Procurement process compliance and efficiency at market/cluster level.

As a line manager, you’ll be excited about creating a positive culture and provide space to deliver. As part of this role, you’ll set clear objectives for your team (local and remote), review achievements, assess training needs and provide development opportunities.

Who we're looking for
  • You are someone who has preferably a proven experience (min 4 years) in procurement across categories in a multinational environment, ideally within FMCG.
  • You’ll be excited and passionate to lead a team and have had experience in past/current roles managing performance.
  • You are experienced in creating, executing, and monitoring complex agreements and implementing procurement procedures.
  • You are someone who can display a high level of autonomy in managing complex sourcing scope and in delivering required productivity objectives. You would have build and defined long term strategies in the past and analysed and interpreted KPI’s
