Joining IT Consumer

The IT Consumer and Commercial team plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers.

Our portfolio consists of multiple powerful technologies in Web, Commerce or CRM, enabling a truly seamless omnichannel experience for our consumers. The role:

To commercialize and expand our new reduce risks products, we are building and rolling out globally a new IT platform. Our retailer engagement platforms aim to provide the best experience in the end-to-end retail journey from onboarding, training, commerce and after sales.

You will be working in unison with the product development teams, supervise the system and data design of new capabilities/requirements, improving and ensuring platforms non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, or extensibility are met.

Your day to day:

  • Define design and their applicability to scenarios in Ecommerce, customer care and communities
  • Have a broad view of industry developments and latest technologies, articulating their application to PMI’s digital engagement
  • Engage with business partners to articulate strategic improvements to the platform
  • Take ownership for the NFRs like robustness and maintainability of the platform
  • Foster strong collaboration between each team including business strategy, design leads, solution managers across B2B

You support the B2B product and development teams working in area of B2B Commerce, Customer Care, and Communities. In your mission, you will be accountable in defining the system/data design across solutions and products teams, working with other architects, developers, and stream leads.

You will be forward looking by engaging early with business design leads and IT teams to define designs. This requires both broad and deep technical understanding as well as eye for business with strong collaboration skills.

Part of your job is to drive the solutions roadmap and ensure technical improvement for non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability or easy of extensibility (e.g. a global platform with local requirements).

Who are we looking for?

  • University degree or adequate equivalent work experience IT domain.
  • 5+ year experience working with the Salesforce platform, specifically Community/Experience, Service and Commerce Cloud.
  • Experience in system design.
  • Experience in data modeling and processes.
  • Strong Enterprise IT architecture background (processes, data, methodologies, frameworks).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident, with the ability to influence and persuade
  • An understanding of how complex matrix organizations operate; international experience is an advantage
