In this exciting role, you will be accountable for owning the development needs and ongoing upskilling of our commercial employees, from Field-based managers through to our Key Account team. You will do this by developing on the comprehensive learning program and building a roadmap for new and existing team members. With close collaboration with key global and local partners, you will build learning programs based on identified needs and business priorities.

Your day to day
Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Organisation Development, you will take full ownership of the design, development, and deployment of the Learning Journeys for our Commercial Manager population (using 5Di). This will include agency management, instructional design and delivery. The Learning Journey will be based on the 70-20-10 model, an established competency framework and has a learner led approach.

Working regularly and collaborating closely with the Field Leadership team, HR Business Partners, and wider P&C team, you'll align the ongoing Learning Strategy with Commercial priorities and adapt where required.

Within this role, you’ll build on a recently deployed competency-based assessment to enable a skill gap analysis and translate results into future led development initiatives.

To continually improve and enhance the return on investment, you will also be measuring the impact and efficiency of our learning initiatives and identify action plans.

Being part of a global organisation, you will get chance to work closely with the global Capability Building Team to implement global initiatives and share standard methodology from the UK market.

You’ll ensure that all activities deployed are in alignment with the compliance and integrity principles by setting an example and promoting compliance culture and ensuring that these are fully respected and integrated by team members.

Our office is based in Hammersmith, and we operate on a hybrid working model (min 2 days in the office). To be successful in your application, you will need to have the right to work in the UK.

About you
  • To be successful in this role, we are ideally looking for someone who is CIPD level 5+ qualified (or similar) or can demonstrate equivalent experience in Learning & Development strategy, design and delivery.
  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels and experience in managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Experienced in identifying training needs, utilising 5Di in building a training plan and delivering through different techniques. All of which accommodate different learner styles.
  • You have a good understanding of consumer journey principles and application with strong experience in delivering effective development solutions.
