Be a part of a revolutionary change

At PMI, we’ve chosen to do something incredible. We’re totally transforming our business and building our future on one clear purpose – to deliver a smoke-free future.

With huge change, comes huge opportunity. So, wherever you join us, you’ll enjoy the freedom to dream up and deliver better, brighter solutions and the space to move your career forward in endlessly different directions.

We’re seeking an AI Solution Architect to design and govern end‑to‑end AI architectures that align with AI Factory standards for quality, security, and enterprise compliance. In this role, you will define scalable and maintainable design patterns, provide reference architectures and reusable components, and ensure technical coherence across all AI Factory solutions by guiding and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Key Accountabilities:

Solution architecture for the reusable components and reusable AI Factory technical components

  • Design scalable, maintainable, secure AI architectures aligned with AI Factory quality, InfoSec, and RAI requirements.
  • Ensure architectural coherence across capabilities by driving modularity (AI Factory reusability), reuse, and enforceable architectural patterns.

Technical Guidance & Standards

  • Provide reference architectures, integration patterns, and reusable design blueprints to guide engineering teams.
  • Promote adoption of AI Factory reusable components and ensure all solutions follow coherent design standards.

Architectural Governance & Risk Mitigation

  • Participate in design reviews, identifying technical, security, or scalability risks early and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Review and assess solution architectures of AI solutions from IT Platforms
  • Partner with the QA Lead to continuously strengthen architectural guardrails and systemic quality controls.

Collaboration Across PMI Tech & EAI

  • Work closely with the Enterprise AI (EAI) organization to co‑design best‑in‑class AI solution patterns and ensure PMI’s AI delivery engine remains high‑performing.
  • Bring cross‑functional insight into AI Factory designs to accelerate alignment, governance consistency, and enterprise‑wide architectural convergence.

We’re looking for someone with:

AI Solution Architecture: Extensive experience designing scalable end-to-end architectures for GenAI, ensuring technical coherence across multiple engineering domains.

Security & Compliance by Design: Skilled at embedding secure-by-design, privacy-by-design, and architectural compliance controls into solution designs.

Cross Functional Technical Leadership: Strong ability to partner with engineering, QA, InfoSec, and enterprise architecture teams to align solutions with organizational standards.

Risk Identification & Mitigation: Experienced in identifying architectural and security risks early, performing structured reviews, and recommending actionable mitigations.

Reusable Architecture Patterns: Adept at creating reference designs, integration blueprints, and reusable patterns that drive consistency and maintainability across platforms.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.

Preferred: training/certification in Cloud Architecture, Security Architecture, or AI/ML technologies.

What we offer:

Our success depends on the talented people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.

You will join a company that invests in you. We will support your growth as an employee through individual development and structured career management. You will join a dynamic, fast-paced work environment in a constantly evolving industry. Our employees have the courage, curiosity, and conviction to see possibilities where others only see challenges. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Join PMI and you too can:

  • Seize the freedom to define your future and ours. We’ll empower you to take risks, experiment and explore.

  • Be part of an inclusive, diverse culture, where everyone’s contribution is respected; collaborate with some of the world’s best people and feel like you belong.

  • Pursue your ambitions and develop your skills with a global business – our staggering size and scale provides endless opportunities to progress.

  • Take pride in delivering our promise to society: to deliver a smoke-free future.
