As a Procurement Liaison Specialist, you will manage the interface between our Major Projects Group and the Supply Chain Services Group (SCS) to help drive the delivery of major infrastructure projects. You will be the primary point of contact for the Major Projects team on all Supply Chain Services matters.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) throughout project lifecycle.
You will engage with key stakeholders, including the Major Project team, SCS Group members, suppliers, and others, to define procurement milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. You will work collaboratively with the Strategic Procurement team to manage the lifecycle of contracts with suppliers and service providers, providing leadership and guidance to Sourcing Specialists, Contract Officers, and Liaison Officers with informal reporting lines to the Manager Materials Procurement. You will also work closely with the Warehouse and Logistics team to plan and manage the storage, maintenance and delivery of plant and equipment.
You will help to develop and maintain the project schedule and budget by providing timely contracting and procurement inputs and reporting as well as ensuring that procurement risk and quality assurance are planned and managed appropriately. You will also ensure the management of interfaces between procurement and design teams.

Based in our Bowen Hills offices and reporting to the Delivery Launch Director, you will join a dynamic team united by a passion for delivering cutting-edge infrastructure projects that will shape the future of Queensland’s energy network, through meticulous coordination and strategic management of procurement processes.
Your expertise
- Relevant degree qualification in engineering, design or an allied discipline or extensive knowledge and experience with contracts and procurement of high voltage equipment for significant construction or telecommunication projects, preferably for HV electricity transmission
We’d also love you to have:
- Proven success in coordinating procurement processes for large infrastructure projects.
- Significant experience leading coordinated procurement practices, and leading and facilitating meetings and workshops.
- Experience in procurement of High Voltage equipment.
- Experience across a broad range of Project Management systems including but not limited to: SAP, Project Server, document management systems (Objective, SPF) and Microsoft Project.
