Reporting to the Lead Enterprise Architect, this role sits within the leadership team of the assigned Product Portfolio and works in close partnership with Product Managers, Delivery Managers and Engineering Leads to help shape product strategy, technology roadmaps and investment priorities. The role is responsible for ensuring that business ambition, architectural direction and delivery execution remain aligned. This includes contributing to product planning, roadmap development, prioritisation discussions and solution shaping, whilst providing architectural leadership and technical guidance across the portfolio. Success in this role will come from building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, influencing decision making and helping the organisation deliver sustainable, scalable solutions that support Softcat's long-term growth ambitions.
As the Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for:
- Portfolio Roadmaps
- Strategic Direction
- Architecture Leadership
- Solution Design
- Technical Debt Visibility
- Change Shaping
- Shape customer and sales platform roadmaps.
- Support customer experience and digital engagement initiatives.
We'd love you to have:
- Significant Solution, Domain, Product or Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Experience shaping technology roadmaps and strategic change.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Commercial awareness and outcome-focused decision making.
- Highly pragmatic approach to balancing governance and delivery.
- Experience working with CRM and customer platforms
