The financial reporting and control team are growing in response to the demands of a fast-growing business and increasingly demanding control and governance environment. Led by the Financial Reporting Manager who reports into the Group Financial Controller, the team sit alongside and work closely with the transactional finance teams (credit control and accounts payable) and other areas of business operations.

Be part of a team that enables business growth
The successful candidate will be a key player in the financial close process, namely bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting and analysis. This individual will work closely with the transactional teams to ensure postings are correct and where opportunities arise, they will ensure that improvements are recommended and followed through with. The candidate will spend much of their time within the financial reporting system and Microsoft Excel, so comfort in both these areas is essential.
As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for:
- Ownership of the bank reconciliation for several entities
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Balance sheet reconciliations for several areas
- Analysis and investigations of large data sets, predominantly in Microsoft Excel or Oracle NetSuite
- Helping to prepare and draft the monthly snapshot analysis and management accounts
What we need from you
- A full accounting qualification is not compulsory for this role – suitable for part qualified, in training or qualified by experience
- Somebody with an excellent attitude and a want to learn and develop
- Experience of balance sheet reconciliations and month end close processes
- Strong user of Excel and comfortable working with big data sets
- Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite would be preferable, but not necessary
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and thought skills
