You'll also need to be able to work flexibly and effectively to manage a varied workload and respond to changing priorities.
As Public Sector Paralegal, you'll be responsible for:

- Creating bespoke contracts where required e.g. referral agreements
- Delivering contract and mandatory regulatory training to account managers and the partner alliances team
- Providing ad hoc legal advice e.g. termination of contracts
- Supporting the development of our precedents and process improvements
What we need from you
- Legal training (law degree/GDL and LPC or equivalent e.g. working towards CILEX qualification)
- Experience of working with commercial contracts, including drafting, preparation, review and amendment; conducting negotiations; and advising on the effect of legal provisions
- Sound technical understanding of contract and tort law
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence to work independently on own caseload and ability to work under pressure
Work in a way that works for you
We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns:
- Hybrid working –2 days in the Manchester office and 3 days working from home
- Working flexible hours - flexing the times you start and finish during the day
- Flexibility around school pick up and drop offs
Working with us
Wherever you work, we want you to experience the freedom and autonomy to realise your potential. You will feel supported by a team that celebrates individuality, encourages different perspectives, and embraces every background.
