The Vendor Alliance team is responsible for the day-to-day relationship, management and engagement of a select number of Softcat's top vendor partners. Working to enable Softcat, they plan and execute against joint business objectives to drive mutual growth. The team is now forty strong and growing, spanning all Softcat locations, providing a service to every function within the organisation. The Vendor Alliance team is fundamental to providing Softcat with the expertise, resource, and relationship base that allows continuous growth from one of our key vendors. Drive collaboration across Softcat to enhance partnership with HPE Aruba
As a HPE Aruba Alliance Executive, you will be responsible in developing awareness and knowledge across Aruba Networking's portfolio for Account Managers, Specialists and Customers. You will be required to have a fundamental understanding of the underlying technology propositions, business outcomes and go-to-markets with a focussed approach to supporting our Networking & Security Specialists.
As a HPE Aruba Alliance Executive, you'll be responsible for:
- Building relationships with Aruba's specialist teams and driving our Aruba Networking profitability
- Supporting with the navigation of Aruba's extensive resources and increasing the ease of doing business
- Developing and discovering new business with HPE Aruba and bridging the gap between sales and technical teams to maximise their opportunities
- Proactively managing and working on Sales initiatives to drive Aruba Networking sales and creating upselling opportunities
- Working closely with our wider HPE Alliance team and have an ability to proactively seek for new routes to market via verticalized messaging, service packages or focussed business segments
- Acting as main point of contact for sales activity with HPE Aruba Partner management team
- Training and educating Network & Security Teamacross strategic areas of Aruba's portfolio
What we need from you
- Passion for technology and previous experience with Network and Security would be desirable
- The proactivity to take ownership of your own business area
- The confidence to present and run large scale training and sales enablement sessions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple business areas
- The ability to build rapport quickly with both internal and external stakeholders
- Occasional travel to Softcat offices would be required
