About the Role

The Head of Hybrid Platform Services is responsible for developing and implementing Softcat's Hybrid Platforms Services strategy in alignment with the company's Technology Strategy. The role involves collaborating with business leaders to optimise service department efficiency, maximise returns on products and services, and deliver a compelling proposition to customers. Key responsibilities include representing technology opportunities, engaging with customers, supporting bid processes, driving operational improvements, and equipping the sales team with the necessary tools and knowledge to achieve Hybrid Platform budget targets.

As Head of Hybrid Platforms , you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and managing the Hybrid Platforms Services strategy to support and drive Softcat sales performance
• Collaborating with sales leadership to ensure Hybrid Platform Services sales meet budget targets year-on-year
• Aligning and supporting delivery teams to implement the Hybrid Platforms Services strategy effectively
• Supporting bids, customer meetings, and sales enablement sessions to win new business
• Leading cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and influencing change within senior leadership

We'd love you to have:

• Significant experience in Hybrid Platforms services or senior technologist roles across sectors
• Exceptional engagement skills at stakeholder, exec, and supplier levels – a technology innovation leader
• Organisational leadership skills to support the development of service delivery and sales teams
• Experience prioritising initiatives aligned with business objectives and delivering measurable value
• A passion for developing individuals and teams to deliver successful cross-departmental outcomes
