Base Location: Glasgow. This is an onsite operational role, and you will be expected to work on site for your full working week.
Salary: £30,684 - £36,666 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
Support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of assigned SSE sites by delivering planned and reactive maintenance, minor building fabric repairs, workplace services and site support in accordance with FM processes, safety requirements and agreed service standards. The role provides professional customer service, engages effectively with stakeholders and contractors, maintains accurate records through Microsoft 365 and the corporate CAFM system, and supports performance reporting and continuous improvement. Where operationally required, the role will travel between and support multiple sites.
You will
- Deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities safely, efficiently and in line with service priorities and compliance requirements.
- Undertake a range of general building and facilities repairs, including building fabric, decorating and other multi-skilled maintenance tasks within competence.
- Support safe and compliant operations by identifying risks, escalating issues, maintaining accurate records and following safe systems of work.
- Build positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, contractors and suppliers, providing excellent service and clear communication at all times.
- Use CAFM systems (including Planon where applicable) and Microsoft 365 tools to manage work orders, maintain records and support performance reporting.
- Set up and take down conference and event spaces, including moving furniture and equipment and carrying out other physical tasks safely as a regular part of the role.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple sites, contributing to service delivery, continuous improvement, projects, audits and emergency response activities.
You have
- Practical capability in minor maintenance and building fabric tasks, supported by an appropriate trade background or equivalent relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of health and safety requirements applicable to maintenance activities.
