About the Role
Base Location: Flexible UK | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSEN offices or depots around the UK.
Salary: £31,339 - £35,892 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: 15 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) governance activities including SHE performance reporting, developing and maintaining the SSEN SHE Management System, arrangements for SHE Assurance and support for SHE innovation projects in Networks.
- The SHE Co-ordinator role provides the Networks SHE Leadership Team with support to seek efficiencies in working and ensure competencies are appropriately matched to activities.
- Develop and apply the administration standards regarding the provision of SHE information, performance reports, dashboards and communications to stakeholders.
- The SHE Co-ordinator will utilise best practice approaches to provide effective governance over incident management and escalation processes aligned to SSE systems. This involves the collection, recording, retrieval, retention, provision and analysis/ trending of SHE performance information.
- The SHE Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact for incident escalations from the 30min process/SEARs. This role will triage all incidents when they come in and depending on the severity of the incident they will allocate the appropriate advisor.
- The role covers administrative aspects of all SHE activities within Networks, i.e. Operational, Occupational, Environment, etc.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Demonstrated experience in incorporating best practice SHE governance processes for data management and performance reporting in large organisations.
- Knowledge and experience of SHE Support activities associated with operational activities.
- Good ability to organise and prioritise workload under own initiative to meet strict deadlines.
- Works well under pressure with good attention to detail and agile to business needs.
- Confident personality with first class interpersonal skills with ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge and experience to a high standard with MS Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
