What are the Roles?
We are looking for experienced Offshore Consent Managers to join our Renewables team on Dogger Bank D - an exciting new phase of the largest offshore wind development in the world.
You'll work as part of the project team to provide planning and consenting support through the development phase. This will include managing and supporting the delivery of the offshore Environmental Impact Assessments and/or Habitat Regulations Assessments as part of the application for development consent.
These roles provide an excellent opportunity to engage with the wider SSE Renewables offshore development team to ensure that there is consistency in the way we develop projects across the portfolio.
What do I need?
We would like you to have:
- A proven track record in the consenting of nationally significant infrastructure projects and preparing Development Consent Order applications.
- Experience in offshore consenting, likely underpinned with experience of Marine Licensing and a qualification in a planning or environmental discipline.
- Experience of the implementation of the Habitats Directive is desirable.
- A successful track record of establishing relationships and leading engagement with key stakeholders and Regulators.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to make challenges, limit risk and achieve solutions.
