About the Role
Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Reading, or Havant
Salary: £53,100 - £79,700 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
- Development and delivery of the Client Computing platform strategy and roadmap based on EUS Strategy and SSE business feedback.
- Responsible for the service and programme delivery for Client Computing within the wider End User Services organisation; including Device Management, Application Management, Print and Site & Meeting Room IT.
- Effectively communicate both technical and end user business change to senior stakeholders.
- Manage both SSE internal and external teams to transform service and deliver backlog.
- Own the budget and financial planning for the platform.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A Proven track record of technical delivery relating to the deployment and management of devices and applications in cloud-based / hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of End User hardware, Windows, MAC Operating systems, Microsoft managed desktop and Device Management.
- Understanding of Microsoft products; including Intune, Configuration Manager, Active Directory / Azure AD and related technologies for the management of corporate Windows, Android and Apple devices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide the team and make informed decisions under pressure. Ability to balance stakeholder interests and drive projects to successful completion.
- Skilled in communicating product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business value and user impact.
- Ability to work with end users, architects and technical teams to evolve the client computing platform to meet SSE's requirements.
