The Crisis Management and Business Continuity Lead position within SSE Renewables SHW Support and Assurance Team has responsibility for supporting delivery and maintaining the overall Crisis Management and Business Continuity systems within the SHE Management System (SHEMS) across SSE Renewables.
Reporting to the SSE Renewables SHW Support and Assurance Specialist Manager, the Crisis Management and Business Continuity Lead will support the SSE Renewables Businesses in their endeavours to keep people, the environment, and assets safe.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- As a SHW Management System, Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Assurance specialist, you will support/projects for specific SSE Business units as required and/or directed by the SHW Support and Assurance Manager
- Provide support in the preparation of position papers for SSE Renewables SHE Management Committee and for the SHEC on an adhoc basis for Crisis Management and Business Continuity, as well as pertinent related SHE Management System and Assurance aspects.
- Support SSE Renewables SHW Team assurance programme within the remit of Crisis Management and Business Continuity, as well as pertinent SHW Assurance audit activities requirements
- Maintain the Crisis Management and Business Continuity systems, as well as SHW SMS documentation, and risk standards as appropriate.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of SSER’s Business Continuity System in relation to documentation, software, training, materials, and facilities as appropriate.
