About the Role
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Inverness
Salary: £38,700 - £58,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
Working closely with the Communities team and wider Transmission business, the Community Relationship Manager will be responsible for:
- Management of Community Relationship Team and development of a team of Community Relationship Officers, including managing performance and ensuring cover during periods of team leave.
- Prioritisation of workload in line with business priorities. Ensuring that all correspondence from external stakeholders is handled in line with business processes and that all targets are adhered to, whist always maintaining a high standard of service.
- Complaint escalation and resolution; supporting the team with more complex or high profile complaints, and acting as an initial escalation point for complaints which are proving hard to resolve.
- For reviewing and auditing the captured feedback during public consultations to ensure that it is accurate and representative in a timely manner to enable prompt reporting of feedback themes.
- Ensuring that our systems are kept up to date, including receiving and logging all stakeholder engagement activities such as written correspondence, emails, calls, events, and new contacts for the Communities Team. Ensure that information stored on Tractivity is accurate, current and is not duplicated. Reviewing and approving content for upload to the SSEN Transmission website.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Understanding of the energy sector and associated infrastructure and knowledge of requirements of a regulated business, and upcoming changes in regulatory or licensing requirements.
- Experience with customer or stakeholder management systems.
- Knowledge and application of AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standards.
- Confident and competent in using Microsoft products e.g. Word, Teams and Excel.
- People management experience including setting and monitoring performance against targets.
